It is so rewarding when a client tells me that I have brought their dreams to life or that their home feels so comfortable that they hardly want to leave. One client even said that when she is away from her home, she misses it like you miss a child. My mission is to create homes that are harmonious, beautiful, functional, fun and that fit each client's wants and needs. My reward comes from not merely meeting my client’s expectations, but exceeding them. I encourage clients to share their wants, needs, hopes and imaginations for each room and the home as a whole. With this information, I guide them in developing the direction and aesthetic for their project. This discovery process is critical to my development of the design. Once I really understand a client’s hopes and dreams, they become mine as well. My designs have ranged from mountain-inspired (rustic, contemporary and elegant) to contemporary, traditional or eclectic homes. Ideally, I like to start a project before the architectural plans are finalized, when there is still an opportunity to adapt the fundamental design to accommodate any special considerations or features. As I pull everything together, I welcome the challenge of solving any unexpected problems along the way. Regardless of when I enter the process, my goal is to give life to the client’s dreams.
